Read freely. The dashboards (government, finance) are factual restatements of public records — accuracy is our goal, but RawBelly is not legal, financial, or voting advice. Verify before you act on it. Every dashboard links back to the underlying primary source (SEC EDGAR, Congress.gov, OpenStates, USASpending) so you can.

For commenters

• One account per person. Don't impersonate other people, including legislators or journalists.
• Honest argument over performance. The upvote system rewards arguments that change minds.
• No threats, no doxxing, no defamation, no personalized harassment. Disagreement is welcome; targeted attacks aren't.
• No election spam or coordinated PAC activity. RawBelly is editorial, not a campaign platform.
• We can remove posts that violate the above. Removed posts stay in our logs; they don't disappear silently.

For sponsors

• One sponsor slot at a time, paper-wide.
• $5 per 1,000 impressions, billed monthly against the prior month's count.
• No agency markup. No political-action funding. No misleading claims. No slop.
• Every ad is reviewed by RawBelly editorial. We say yes, no, or "yes with these edits" within 24 hours of submission.
• You can pause your ad at any time with one click; we can pause it too if a complaint comes in we need to investigate.
• Impression counts are tracked at the Cloudflare edge. We share the count on each monthly invoice.

Your content

What you post on Town Square stays your speech. RawBelly gets a non-exclusive license to display it on the site and reference it in editorial. You can delete your own posts; deletion is honored within 24 hours.

RawBelly is provided as-is. Civic data is sourced from APIs that can go down or get things wrong. We're not liable for missed votes, missed deadlines, or financial decisions based on what you read here. Use it well; double-check anything that matters.
